Jacket filled with feathers with hood of the brand Rab. New version with recycled materials of this light and warm garment, which provides maximum insulation from the cold with minimum weight.
The jacket Microlight Alpine is made with outer fabric Pertex® Quantum with 30 denier nylon and 50 g/m², an extremely fine and dense recycled material that allows it to have windproof properties to better conserve temperature. This fabric is completed with the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment that allows it to withstand snow and light rain without problems. Thanks to this material, the durability and resistance of the garment is guaranteed.
Thermal insulation is provided by a filling of 153 grams of down (for size L) recycled European goose with a inflation capacity of 700 FP; this means that one ounce (28 grams) of feather of this quality has, when not subjected to any pressure, a capacity to occupy 700 cuin (cubic inches, or 11.5 liters of volume approx. The down has been given a Nikwax water-repellent treatment to prevent moisture from affecting its insulating capabilities. It has the RDS certificate (Responsible Down Standard, responsible down standard) that guarantees that throughout the down extraction chain it has been guaranteed not to inflict unnecessary damage on animals such as live plucking or force feeding.
The Microlight Alpine Jacket has a structure in micro partitions and nano partitions that minimizes the migration of the down and provides an optimal distribution of the same avoiding cold spots, which together with the fixed hood makes this jacket a perfect choice when warmth, weight and compactness are paramount. The septum and the interior fabric is made of 20 denier recycled nylon, with 38 grams per square meter of weight.
YKK zippers on the side pockets and the chest pocket. Elasticated cuffs for a better fit and adjustable drawstring hem. Hood with attached visor. Approximate weight of 467 grams.
