In the middle of the range of the Ascender range, the Ascendor 35:40 backpack is ideal for days with a full load or routes that involve an overnight bivouac.
It's a flip−top backpack with zippered side entry for quick access to gear and incorporates dedicated lower ski loops for carrying skis on an A−frame. It's constructed of durable, 50% recycled fabric around sides and base for optimal abrasion resistance, and a strong yet lightweight fabric, 35% recycled on the rest to keep weight to a minimum. Abrasion, tear and water resistant, this rugged backpack stands up to all conditions.
Built with multiple gear attachment points and features, from dual ice ax carry to hydration bladder compatibility, it's the ultimate multi−season mountain pack. Weight has been kept to a minimum with lightweight features, many of which are removable. The spring steel frame and HDPE inner sheet can be removed so you can customize the pack's weight, stiffness and fit to your day's goal. The hipbelt can also be customized, with its removable webbing and padding for days when you move ultralight.
Fitted and designed to let you move freely over demanding terrain, the Ascendor 35:40 has a snow guard, molded back panel and side compression straps to secure your gear. Easy to open and close securely with a strong metal hook or remove the top cap entirely on lighter weight days and fasten with the large compression flap. This is designed to bring the weight of the pack closer to your body to greatly improve carrying. It also doubles as a rope strap and protects your gear on top of the pack from inclement weather when the lid is open.
When it comes to the Ascendor 35:40, we've got you covered. With a smart, multifunctional and comfortable design, it is an excellent option for ambitious adventures in the mountains.
