Arc'teryx launches
Procline Carbon Support for women; it's first
ski−mountaineering boot designed to meet the needs of the more demanding climbers. It's hybrid design brings together a plastic mountaineering boot and a lightweight mountain ski boot rendering it capable of facing steep mixed terrain slopes as well as complicated, technical descents.
It's strength lies in the boot's revolutionary
carbon ribbing system, which allows exceptional
vertical (75°) and lateral rotation (23º / 12°) while also attaining good freedom of movement and high comfort levels. On the other hand, also increasing the rigidity and the lateral support for descents.
The shell is built with
Grilamid , which is compact, robust and very light, yet also provides strength and increased resistance. The tongue of the boot is completely impermeable and insulated. The shaft is made of carbon fibre, improving the tension and co−efficiency of the boot when the demand is high.
This boot has a 2 hook system that combines the traditional locking system with the cable system, giving a highly customizable fit.
The up / ski locking system is easy and comfortable to modify when on the move, offering complete control when skiing. The upper part of the shaft is composed of a wide power strap to improve grip and efficiency, plus a Velcro system for fast closing and adjustment.
The 250g Carbon Support is warm and comfortable, able to thermoform with your own body heat through use.
