Introducing the Ortles Alpine Wool jacket, named after the highest mountain in the Eastern Alps outside the Bernina Range. It is a lightweight and breathable hybrid softshell midlayer designed for ski touring and mountaineering.
The main fabric is a hybrid thermal fabric of merino/polywool. The main advantages are warmth, quick drying and that it is pleasant to wear. The sporty fit is based on a bodymapping design that places different levels of insulation depending on the part of the body.
The extra elastane content provides 4-way mechanical stretch. In addition, the ergonomic design of the sleeves and shoulders also promote freedom of movement. The shoulders and sleeves are made of a Polarlite Wool Cordura blend that offers protection against tears, chafing and abrasion. The collar has a soft inner lining that provides greater comfort.
