Product Description

Spray-on waterproofing for wet weather clothing. Adds water-repellency and revives breathability.

Rejuvenates the water repellency of tired, worn clothing
Overcomes the problems of gear ‘wetting-out´
Maintains breathability
Prolongs life of gear and optimises performance in wet weather
Easy to apply
Ideal for clothing with wicking liners. Hydrophobic PU coatings. Pile Pertex.

Protect working surface and lay clean wet fastened garment flat.
Hold bottle 15 cm/6 inches away from garment.
Apply evenly to outside of fabric.
Wait for 2 minutes. Remove any surplus product with a damp cloth.
Check carefully to ensure no areas have been missed.
Always apply this product to used clothing to keep items in perfect water-repellent condition. To maintain the performance of waterproofed gear, regularly clean with Nikwax Tech Wash to remove everyday dirt and contaminants.
One 300ml bottle is sufficient for waterproofing 1-2 garments depending on the condition of the fabric.

Lo usé sobre una prenda de goretex muy usada que ya empezaba a calar (la membrana termina rompiéndose con el uso y lavados) y no “resucita” la impermeabilidad originaria. En las costuras no es efectivo y en el resto sí que es cierto que se nota el refuerzo, pero a mí me pilló una lluvia fuerte y me mojé. Es útil para gotitas o llovizna. Tuve la sensación también de que la prenda transpiraba bastante peor.

Producto interesante utilizado con Nikwax Tech Wash. Lo apliqué y después de seco salpiqué unas pequeñas gotas y las repelió bien. Lo peor la cantidad, ya que es justa para impermeabilizar dos prendas. Creo que para sacar el partido perfecto es imprescindible utilizar Nikwax Tech. Repetiré.
