Features ed. desnivel 50 montañas de la cordillera cantábrica
The Cantabrian Mountains enclose one of the best-preserved mountain landscapes in the Iberian Peninsula. This guide offers us the main routes of ascent to the 50 most outstanding peaks that the most eastern part of the Cordillera treasures, from the Campoo-Reinosa basin to the port of San Isidro.
Among its pages, we will find mountains as significant as Curavacas, Mampodre, Coriscao, Pico Torres or Peña Prieta, but also other lesser-known peaks but with the charm and incentive of being the guardians of remote and wild valleys. In addition, a final annex is included with the Transcantábrica, the east-west crossing of the Cordillera in reference to the eastern section of it.
David Atela, experienced mountaineer and recognized author of numerous guides, provides us with all the information on the main ascent routes where a large amount of technical data is provided: difficulty, unevenness, schedule, accesses and approaches, as well as a detailed description of each of the proposed itineraries; all this illustrated with sketches on a photo and location maps. Its author also provides us with data to enjoy our ski ascents in winter.
