The Alpine Up is the most versatile and comprehensive belay / descender device with the most versatile braking system ever produced. Designed for high mountain climbing and mountaineering, it can be used with double ropes and twin ropes from Ø 7.3 to 9 mm, and with a single rope from Ø 8.9 ÷ 10.5 mm. Presents 2 types of insurance, depending on the field in which we are:
Click UP mode: (Assisted manual braking)
For tracks of several lengths equipped with quality fixed anchors. (Fig. 1)
Arrest a fall with assisted manual braking. (fig. 3).
Mode not suitable for use on traditional sports routes or adventure terrain.
Dynamic Mode: (Manual Braking):
For classic / traditional climbing routes, equipped with spikes or requiring self-protection. (fig. 2).

Other Functions and Features:
Independent and simultaneous belaying of 1 or 2 seconds of rope. (fig. 4).
Possibility of gradual release under tension of 1 second of string. (release rope and go down to second).
