Designed to tackle serious ice and mixed lines on winter crags and alpine faces the world over, the Black Diamond Stinger is BD´s lightweight stainless steel crampon with a replaceable monopoint. An asymmetrical design fits the contours of modern mountain boots, and thin, low-profile heel and toe wires offer a precise fit for less weight.

Un crampon de los que clavan como un piolet
Excelente punta que se clava con seguridad. A diferencia de unos Dart, que más bien son de "apoyar" las puntas. La única pega es el acero inox, que se desafila fácilmente y le cuesta trabajar en hielos duros. También le mejoraría las 4 puntas traseras, un poco más largas, para mejorar la seguridad en aproximaciones, cómo la gama de Petzl. Crampon no apto para principiantes por esto mismo.

La valoración en general de estos crampones es muy buena, pero me encuentro que 3 años despues de su compra y con poco uso del mismo, la talonera de uno de ellos ha cedico, preguntándome si al final el querer ajustar tanto el peso tiene consecuencias de fiabilidad?¿.
