Golden Dry treatment: In addition to the performance of Dry Cover, Beal also enhances the durability of the core by another exclusive procedure. Every filament in the strands of the core is coated with a fluoride solution by a continuous process, which is then heat−set and polymerised onto the polyamide. Protecting the rope from water absorption eliminates weight increase, risk of freezing on cold weather climbs, and slows the wearing of the rope considerably.

All Beal dynamic rope sheaths are waterproof treated with Dry Cover.

Beal Compact Process: Beals exclusive weaving process renders core and sheath as one, ensuring a perfect equilibrium in the rope and giving it these unique attributes:
  • Lowers the impact force
  • Increases the number of falls
  • Allows the rope to conserve its dynamic properties in use
  • Eliminates sheath slippage in normal conditions of use

Each Beal rope includes an individual identification number

Easy snow routes, glacier travel, ski−touring. A snow route is called easy if it has no difficult passages such as the crossing of a bergschrund, requiring a belay. It will be possible to progress with any type of dynamic rope:
  • One strand of single rope.
  • One strand of double rope.
  • One strand of twin rope.
  • Color of rope may vary from that in photo. Consult with customer service

The roping of the party is practised in different ways. BEALs choice is to use one strand of twin rope. In order to make the dynamic results for this rope more realistic BEAL has decided to indicate the performance more closely related to this use than a twin rope tested on two strands. That is with a fall limited to factor 0.8, but with 80kg on one strand, and the impact force measured with the same parameters. Even though we forbid the use of Rando rope on one strand for climbing and mountaineering, these two activities are nevertheless practicable if you use 2 strands of Rando rope.

Buena cuerda

Blai - 26 Jun 2012
Ligera y de manejo dócil. No coge agua al utilizarla sobre nieve.
