Ultralight rope for double use for trad climbing, alpinism and ice climbing. The lightest of the double use ropes, which is also approved as a twin rope. Its smaller diameter provides exceptional smoothness, but which in turn requires a specific belay technique.
Using two 50m ropes, you have more leeway when climbing pitches by having enough length. With a weight of 36 g/m. and a reduced shock force, the Gully 7.3 is ideal for ice, mountaineering and demanding adventure terrain
.Its extremely low crash force reduces the load on random anchors in ice on compromised mixed roads. An advantage that does not leave any self-respecting mountaineer indifferent.
It has Golden Dry waterproofing treatment, this exceptional rope really shows us all its possibilities:
Beal treats the core of the rope in a lasting way thanks to an exclusive procedure. On each thread that makes up the ends of the core, a fluorinated solution is continuously deposited, which is then polymerized and hot-fixed on the polyamide. Protecting the rope from absorbing water prevents any weight overload or risk of freezing during ascents on snow or ice and, above all, considerably delays rope wear
.BEAL's UNICORE technology has managed to unite the core and sheath of these dynamic ropes to limit movements between the 2 parts, to optimize their operation. Dynamic strings that feature the UNICORE process swell less, are more flexible, more comfortable to play and last longer. By having a smoother sheath than a classic rope, friction on the carabiners and on the rock is reduced, resistance to abrasion is further improved and rope retrieval is much easier for effortless carabining. The climber really has the sensation of climbing with a much thinner and lighter rope, since the fluidity is greater and retains all the belaying advantages with a larger diameter rope.
Each Beal rope also has an Individual Identification Number which appears both on the end of the rope and on the individual Identity Card. This guarantees lifetime traceability and infallible tracking of the product.
