1. Delivery options & times


The delivery times indicated below are calculated according to working days (mon-fri) and may be altered by local or national holidays. If the bank transfer paymet option has been selected for your order, bear in mind that your order will not be dispatched until we have received the bank transfer.

The exact cost of delivery is displayed in your shopping cart, before you are asked to pay for the order. Shipping costs vary according to the weight and destination of your order.

Note:

  • Barrabes reserves the right to modify shipping conditions including delivery times and transport costs at any time when affects to Barrabes promotional gift card.
  • We are unable to deliver to a PO BOX address.
  • At specific times of year, such as Black Friday, Christmas, New Year, or bank holidays we are unable to garantee our delivery dates, due to saturation of transport services.
  • Barrabes reserves the right to modify delivery options & times without previous notification for large-capacity orders (skis, crashpads, etc.) or in special cases.
  • Shipping costs do not include any possible extra payments, which may be added, such as customs tax and which may be charged Cash On Delivery.

SHIPPING COSTS

EU, Switzerland and Norway

  • Orders under 3 kg and less than £250
    •    EU and Switzerland: £5
    •    Norway: £10
  • Orders under 3 kg and over £250: free shipping
  • Orders over 3 kg: Shipping costs calculated according to weight and dimensions.
Other non-EU Countries

  • Shipping costs calculated according to weight and dimensions.

Delivery Times

Standard Delivery
4-7 business days – for most countries and post codes around the world.

Express Delivery (EU only)
2 business days – this option is available for deliveries to countries within the European Union (for most post codes) and only for certain items. You can consult the availability of express delivery and view the exact delivery time in your shopping cart or by contacting our customer service department.


Note: Some items in our store are marked 12-15 days. These items will take 12-15 days to be dispatched from our warehouse. This period will need to be added to the times above to estimate delivery times. The urgent delivery options indicated for the countries below cannot be applied to these items.


CANCELLING AN ORDER:

If you would like to cancel your order, you should contact Barrabes Customer Service as soon as possible. Orders that are already in the process of being dispatched cannot be cancelled (even if they are not yet listed as "sent" in your Barrabes account). If we inform you that we are not able to cancel your order and it is going to be delivered within the European Union, you can refuse the delivery with the carrier so that you will not have to return the package and incur the return shipping costs to the Barrabes warehouse. In this case, Barrabes will process the return when it arrives back and provide you with a refund. This option is not valid for customers located outside the European Union.

Barrabes will not be responsible for the return costs of any returned orders that were sent and delivered.


2. Return Policy


Our Customer Service department provides an after-sales service to help you with any problems you may have with our products and deliveries. Our aim is to provide a fast and efficient service to our customers.

If for any reason you are not pleased with your order, you can return the unwanted merchandise to Barrabes. We accept returns for refund or exchange up to 30 days after delivery of your purchase. If you want to return an item due to a defect, damage or some other warranty-related claim, please contact Barrabes customer service first.

Returns from within the European Union

For returns from within the EU, you will not be charged shipping on the delivery of the exchange order. You will be responsible, however, for return postage of the unwanted merchandise to Barrabes. We recommend using a service with a tracking number and/or delivery confirmation in case of any problems with delivery.

Returns from Outside the European Union

For returns coming from outside the EU, you will be responsible for the return postage to our Central Logistics center in Spain along with any possible import duties or fees charged by Spanish customs upon return. We recommend using the international postal service with a tracking number and/or delivery confirmation in case of any problems with delivery and to minimize customs fees and duties.

Barrabes does not offer free exchanges for returns from outside of the European Union. If you would like to exchange your purchase for another color/size or for a different product, you will have to place a new order in our online store.

Processing a Return

If you would like to return a product for an exchange or refund, visit our Product Return page or go to My Account and follow the steps to process the return.

Simply send back the "unused" product in perfect condition and in its original packaging, including all guarantees, labels and instructions of use. It is very important that returned product/s are posted in suitable wrapping to prevent damage. If a product does not arrive at our warehouse in its perfect state, due to inappropriate wrapping, the exchange/refund will not be accepted.

Returned DVDs, videos, or other electronic devices may not be accepted if they are not in their original wrapping. Voluntary returns on mounted skis, cut lengths of rope, or other products that have been modified specifically for a particular customer will not be accepted.

Once the returned goods have been received at our warehouse and their condition has been checked, Barrabes.com will accept the return and will proceed to process the corresponding exchange or refund, according to the form of payment used to place the order: 
    a. If you paid for your order by credit card, the refund will be returned to the same credit card account.
    b. If you paid for your order by Paypal, the amount will be refunded to your Paypal account.
    c. If you paid for you order C.O.D. or by bank transfer, you will be asked to provide us with a bank account number so that we can process the refund.

Note: The amount will be refunded to your account within a period of 20 days, which will be calculated from the date the returned goods were received at our warehouse. Bear in mind that if you paid by credit card, the refund will probably not be shown on your bank invoice until it is updated, the following month.

Bear in mind that Barrabes.com will not accept returns with unpaid postage. 

Special christmas return policy: For purchases made from November 16 to December 30, 2019, the return period will be extended through January 31, 2020.


3. Forms of payment


The forms of payment available for your order will appear automatically, depending on the destination and products in your order.

Bank Transfer

When you select the bank transfer option, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with includes the bank transfer details. The bank transfer should be made for the full amount of your order including shipping costs, in in the currency in which your order has been placed, and made payable to BARRABES SKI MONTAÑA S.L.U.

Please ensure that you indicate, "order number xxxxx" in the subject bar as well as your name and surname. The bank transfer should be carried out within 3 days of placing the order or your order will be canceled.

Bear in mind that if you select this form of payment, your order will not be dispatched until the payment has been received. If you are in a hurry, we suggest you select one of the other forms of payment.

Remember that any bank commissions & currency exchange fees will be paid by the customer. If this commission is not paid by the customer, Barrabes.com will delay dispatching the order until the entire amount is received.

Visa or MasterCard

We guarantee that every transaction carried out at Barrabes.com is 100% safe. Each operation, which implies the transmission of personal information or bank details, is carried out within a safe environment. Barrabes.com uses a secure server, which uses a protocol called SSL (Secure Socked Layer) to ensure the secure transfer of information via encryption.

In this way the credit card details are not registered in a database and are only known and handled by the bank, whereas the order and client details are known and handled only by the trader.

In an effort to provide greater security to credit card owners, we have now updated our web-site to include the latest security measures for on-line commerce developed by Visa and Mastercard. These are known as 3D Secure Code (Verified by VISA) and SPA/UCAF (Mastercard Secure Code). In this way, if you are a holder of a "Secure enabled" card, you will always be able to make a payment with a Visa or Mastercard on our web-site.

If you have not yet received a PIN or password for exclusive use when making on-line payments, we advise you to contact the financial institution who issued your card and request that this service be applied so that you can benefit from secure on-line purchases. This is possible either by contacting your bank or making an on-line request.

Long-standing customers may not be asked to provide the Secure Code, but all customers will be asked to supply the following information: the credit card number, the expiry date and a validation code, which refers to the last 3 digits printed on the back of the credit card. In this way we are able to guarantee even greater security for on-line transactions.

Note: Credit Card fraud is an offence and Barrabes will take the necessary action against anyone who makes a fraudulant transaction on our on-line store.

Cash On Delivery (C.O.D)

This option only exists in mainland Portugal & Spain (mainland & Balearic Islands).

The order will be paid for upon delivery, to the transport agency.
